Please explore the complimentary video lesson that dives into mindfulness and its benefits! In short, mindfulness is intentionally bringing your attention to the present moment without judgment. It incorporates awareness of your breath, thoughts, and emotions. The benefits of mindfulness are amazing! They include stress reduction, improved focus and concentration, enhanced emotional regulation, enhanced physical and mental health, increased self-awareness, improved relationships, better sleep, and greater resilience, among others.
Each video lesson is approximately 10 minutes long, with an accompanying written lesson for added comprehension and review. There are journal prompts included with each lesson to promote personal growth and self-discovery. I encourage you to start from the first lesson and work your way through the course (completing the journal and other exercises associated with each lesson) before moving on to the next, although this is optional. You might complete 1 to 3 lessons per week - or one lesson a day. Your pace is unique to you and your needs! There are 16 lessons in total.
Not at all! This course is geared towards the beginner. As such, guided meditations are only approximately 5 minutes long. During this course, we cover the fundamentals of mindfulness with real-life applications (and then some!).
